My name is Rihaku.
I think I'm a kind of Otaku because I love drawing, gaming, and reading manga.
I do have strong likes or dislikes, so I wouldn't say I know every manga in the world, but think most of manga are in my field of knowledge.
(Sometimes I pretend to know it all, to be honest. hehe.)

No wonder manga and anime have tuned into a cult hit.
They are intriguing enough to boost fan's interests and keep their focus on what's new.
One of the fun that I must tell you here is "Character CD" of popular anime/manga series.
The best-selling is Aozu's CD from "Tennis no ouji-sama"(Prince of tennis).
They always entertain us with new CD, changing members for different music style.
They often make it high up in the hit music charts.

Now, you can't say much about your favorite anime without knowing the character CD.
You'll find that what you see on TV is not everything of your favorite characters.
It shows you a bit different face of him/her to make you love them more.

The development of manga is unique to It was born and specialised in Japan . The word "MANGA" has become so well-known, became wide-spread and everyone knows it now.
(Japanese comics are called as "MANGA" in English, too.)
Until recently , even in Japan , MANGA has mostly been confined to developed print almost as the paper media such as of a magazine s and a book s. .
However, now there is a tendency towards a "media mix" of MANGA including it has been diversified as TV animations, movies, DVDs, character goods and action figures. character goods by a media-mix tendency .
The A weekly magazine "Jump" is the most well-known MANGA magazine of all. among all as we reckon .
The expanded MANGA media attracted many people and made a lot of fans.
There are very enthusiastic people who collect manga-related paraphernalia or wear costumes of their favorite characters in their daily lives. Some of them memorize their character's lines and use them on a daily basis. These kinds of fans are called "OTAKU," perhaps you have heard this word before? If you have heard it, maybe that is because we are in the midst of an "OTAKU REVOLUTION". OTAKU have changed the way we think about MANGA , and the number of OTAKU is increasing every day. or goods collectors, and you might have heard this word "OTAKU", that means fans who memorize the character's speech and speak in the same way in usual days.

Sumomomo,Momomo
Check out this quite unique manga that I've found these days.
I believe this is the best hit i ever come across for a long while.
Really loving Momoko's strong character.
You might think it's just a romantic comedy by the look of it
(well it is true, though), this is actually a story of Momoko, who is a martial-arts crazed teenage girl and grew up in the mountains.
Released in six volumes so far, story still be continued...
Definitely worth reading!

DEATH NOTE
Very basic, but I probably love this DEATH NOTE the most after all.
Are you on Light side, or L? The film would be out on film soon.
The manga, the film, and the anime, they all are the hottest issue among enthusiastic fans including me.
I don't need to recommend this to you. I know you'll check it out. |

BL(Boy's love) and Yuri(Girl's love, also known as GL) have been rapidly gaining in popularity these days.
They had already existed since long time ago indeed, but they became more familier(?) to people (both of boys and girls) with keeping up to Doujinshi's growing recognition.
You can even see them on TV animation now.
Let's just check out those BL and Yuri mangas below.
They have already been made into animation.

I just wanted to add a bit strong flavor at the end, so here it is.
This genre was used to be loved secretly by few people (again, including me. Well I showed my respect for it openly unlike others, though.)
It has just spread out at the market recently, and I often see more men in BL shops than before.
Gakuen Heaven is one of my favorite.
It's known as the best BL that you have to check out at first.
It's originally based on a dating simulation game, and made a big hit as manga later on.
You can find some different version of comics which released for each couple in the game.
I'm just introducing this as I personally love this genre, but well....I don't know how you like it.
